Assessments

Throughout the school year, students will have the opportunity to take several assessments that will allow us to see how they are progressing academically. Many students will take the NWEA MAP reading and math tests in the fall and all students will take the the NWEA MAP reading and math tests in the spring. All eighth grade students will take the EXPLORE test in the fall. All students will take the MCA-IIIs in math and reading in the spring. Eighth grade students take the MCA-science test in the spring. These assessments are essential tools in determining if students have mastered grade level content and will be used to help create a plan of academic study that will allow students to experience success in high school and beyond.
